Yes. Live Scan fingerprinting is an electronic fingerprinting process that captures and securely transmits fingerprints directly to the Nevada Department of Public Safety (DPS) for background check processing. Fingerprinting INK® is an approved Nevada DPS fingerprinting provider and our Live Scan systems meet state and federal security standards for electronic fingerprint submission. Live Scan is faster, more accurate, and reduces the risk of fingerprint rejections compared to traditional ink fingerprint cards.

Fingerprinting costs vary depending on the agency, background check, and submission method required. Fingerprinting INK® offers affordable Live Scan fingerprinting, FD-258 fingerprint cards, PILB security guard fingerprints, nursing board fingerprints, contractor board fingerprints, and FBI background check fingerprint services. Contact either of our Las Vegas locations for current pricing and same-day availability.

Processing times vary based on Nevada DPS workload and the method used to submit fingerprints. Live Scan fingerprinting is typically the fastest option because fingerprints are transmitted electronically to the state. While Fingerprinting INK® can complete your fingerprinting appointment in just minutes, final processing times are determined by the Nevada Department of Public Safety.

PID (Personal Identification) & ATF eFile

Yes. We provide ATF Live Scan electronic fingerprinting for National Firearms Act (NFA) applications.

This service is available exclusively at our Durango location.

ATF Live Scan is a digital fingerprinting process that replaces traditional ink fingerprint cards with high-resolution electronic fingerprint scans. Your fingerprints are captured using Live Scan equipment, reviewed in real time for quality, and generated as an EFT (Electronic Fingerprint Transmission) file, which is accepted by the ATF for electronic submission. This process significantly reduces rejection rates and speeds up application processing.

✔️ We include a FREE electronic passport-style photo to accompany your ATF NFA application
✔️ By far the most affordable ATF Live Scan service in Las Vegas
✔️ No ink cards, no mess, no guesswork

If you’re filing an NFA application and need ATF-compliant fingerprints done correctly the first time, we’ve got you covered.

A Nevada PID (Personal Identification) Background Check is a fingerprint-based criminal history record provided through the Nevada Department of Public Safety (DPS). Unlike a name-based search, a PID uses your fingerprints to verify your identity and retrieve your Nevada criminal history record. Nevada residents commonly request a PID for personal review, record sealing preparation, immigration matters, legal proceedings, and other situations requiring an official copy of their Nevada criminal history.

To obtain a Nevada PID Background Check, you must first complete the online pre-registration process through the Nevada Department of Public Safety's NCCIS system. Once registered, visit either of  Fingerprinting INK® two locations for Live Scan fingerprinting. Our DPS-approved technicians electronically submit your fingerprints, helping ensure fast, accurate processing. After the Nevada DPS completes your background check, your results will be delivered directly by the state according to the PID option you selected during registration.
